Brick Wood Fired Bistro has been a labor of love for owner and general manager Jason Nagers and his family Ronda and Tim Tracy since opening in September 2015. The beautifully designed restaurant in the heart of Calvert County brings rustic and locally sourced American food to our community with a flair for inspired cuisine, a focus on freshness and a dedication to highlighting the unique flavors of the Chesapeake Bay region. The seasonally inspired menu pulls from fresh ingredients that are enhanced by two wood-fired ovens, herbs from the rooftop garden and local beer and wine.
Nagers says Brick is a great place for families – it’s unique and casual with an eclectic, metropolitan menu that appeals to everyone. “We wanted to create a destination dining experience; a place where people felt warm and welcomed and where our Southern Maryland culture collided with a Southern California vibe,” he says. “I think we’ve succeeded in attracting and appealing to a new clientele here in Calvert County and we look forward to paving the way for adventurous restaurateurs who subscribe to our distinctive approach to food.”
